New BlackBerry Niagara Video

Thanks to the CrackBerry forums, a new video of the BlackBerry Niagara 9630 smartphone has been discovered on YouTube.

Note: The quality isn’t the best (camera phone maybe?), but right now I guess we’ll take what we can get!

Crackberry Gets Photos of the Niagara 9630

If you are a BlackBerry junkie, you may be excited to learn that photos have surfaced of the new BlackBerry Niagara 9630 over at Crackberry.com.

Here is what we know about the BlackBerry Niagara:

  • The Operating system will likely be 4.7.1 (could be OS 5.0 if launch gets pushed back far enough)
  • No WI-FI
  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support along with WCDMA support (bands not specified, but most likely 2100MHz)
  • CDMA 1x/EV-DO Rev. A device
  • Release date unknown, but we’d say May/June if we had to bet
  • 3.2 megapixel camera (unconfirmed)
  • The web browser supports JavaScript 1.6

Bell Releases BlackBerry Pearl Flip Phone

For those of you that prefer flip phones, we were happy to see the new BlackBerry Pearl Flip is well on its way!   A couple weeks ago, the famous “butt dialing” commercials began here in the United States.

Now word comes that Bell (a Canadian cell phone service provider) has already released the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230.   Their introductory deal lists the flip phone for $29.95 with a three year contract (only available until March 12, 2009).  For additional information, click here or see the advertisement below:
